2.4.1 - Amsterdam 1

Amsterdam - Day 1

I made it to Amsterdam Airport Station just after 17:30 hrs.
And I headed to the Tourist Information Office right away.

I purchased the I AmSterdam Card for 48 hrs.
I got free trains, some free museums, a free ride on the cruises, free coffee, free burger, and 25% on some restaurants...

Anyway, I headed to my hotel, which my sister found me a great rate at the Marriott Airport... the shuttle ride from the airport takes 15 min, and it's 5,00€ each time you take it.

Anyway, the room is great, and big, and they have a cool wireless keyboard that you can use as a remote for the tele, or to log online.

After I had unpacked, I decided to go downstairs to use the Wi-Fi from the lobby... and I started to get hungry so I went to the bowling alley next door and had some chicken fingers, fries, and a beer... my goodness, I bowled like crap!!!
I kept missing my mark, and my bowl was only knocking down three pins... I think I bowled a 54 on my first game.

I finally started to warm up, and finally got a strike... and I got a cheer from the group of kids that were sitting behind me... Two very good looking women... one blond, one brunette, both green eyes, and beautiful faces... oh, yeah, I think there were six other guys there too.
As my time was running out, they announced that time was up, so the blond girl came and asked me if she could throw the last ball for me... and I say, you can do anything you want to... I did have to games of 160 and 163 by the way.

I went to get one more beer and one of the guys asked me if I would like to joined their table, and to sit next to the blond.
So I did... the brunette was 20 and the blond 22, who was flirting pretty good, but I felt way too old...

Anyway, we closed down the bowling alley, we traded names and emails, but I don't think I will ever hear back from them at all.

Well, that was the end of day one in Amsterdam...
Tomorrow, I'll take some tours..!
