2.1.1 - Hamburg 1

I left Berlin Monday afternoon.
I wanted to meet a girl name Heidi that was helpfull on the travel forums, but it never happened.

Anyway, made it to the bus stop and had to email my confirmation to the hotel next door so that they could print a copy for me to give to the bus driver.
There were about 10 ppl traveling on this double decker bus.
I sat at the top, front row, driver side.
It was a 3.5 hr drive. Who knew there was agriculture in this area? But between Berlin and Hamburg looks like the trip between Alberta and Ontario, fields and fields of grain.

Once we made it to Hamburg ZOB (the bus terminal) I found out that the hotel I had booked was just a few blocks south. Oh my!
I found the street and walked half a block to get to the hotel, and I was asked if I was looking for a date about 4 times.
I'm glad I didn't put a deposit on that room.

I walked towards my second choice of hotels, half way there, there was a big Gallery (mall) and a few good hotels. I saw a couple if business people checking in at this one hotel, so I asked if they had a single room, they gave me a key and said to check it out.
It's perfect!
Has a twin bed, a night table, a desk, a television, a wardrobe with a key, and a sink. Plus a Full bathroom, with a shower! and laundry service. By the way, Jack's bathroom is bigger, but it's all good. Oh, for those of you that "don't know Jack" it's the 36 foot beast that my aunt Marisa and I drive from Calgary to Toronto two falls ago. All these, plus wifi and breakfast for 45€ (w/ taxes)

Time to watch some tele, and recharge my iTouch, but not before I send some emails.

Ok I'm back...
My mom called me here at the hotel.
Anyway, there was an Irish Pub across the street and I went to eat and have a beer.
But now in my room, watching A1 (antenna one television channel) they have ads that sell you porn for your phone!
And the show I was watching was the equivalent of Grace Anatomy and now a football game.

After writting here, I'm going to bed.
